Google Gemini App Faces Partial Outage Across All Major Platforms

Google's Gemini AI app hit a significant disruption on June 10, 2026, with users across multiple platforms unable to use Google's flagship AI assistant.

Users began seeing "Something Went Wrong 1099 or 1076" error messages while trying to use Gemini. In some cases, entering a prompt would place it back in a text box rather than generating a response. Tapping enter a second time sometimes prompted the work.

This outage extended across Gemini on web, Android, iOS, macOS, as well as Gemini in Chrome. No platform was completely spared from disruption during this period. On Workspace's Gemini side panel, issues began emerging at around 3:30 a.m. PT, leaving business users unable to access AI assistance through Google's suite of tools.

Google's Official Response

Google's Josh Woodward confirmed at 10:31 a.m. PT that Gemini was experiencing an outage, stating fixes were already being pushed with more on the way shortly. AI tools like Gemini have become a core part of daily workflows for millions of people worldwide. A disruption of this scale highlights how dependent users have grown on AI-powered assistants.
